What is TMJ?
The Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) - the joint that connects the lower jaw to the skull - has many components. For our purposes, the main components are:
- The Fossa (Skull)
- Disc (Separates the Lower Jaw from the Skull)
- Muscles that make your jaw move
