What  is  TMJ?

The Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) - the joint that connects the lower jaw to the skull - has many components. For our purposes, the main components are:

  1. Condyle
  2. The Fossa (Skull)
  3. Disc (Separates the Lower Jaw from the Skull)
  4. Muscles that make your jaw move
